Kempo Karate Association was established in November 2022 by Sensei Matt Handley 5th Dan Black belt EKF and BKF National Para Karate coach. Kempo Karate Association are members of the English Karate Federation, The British Karate Federation and the World Karate Federation.

Our Philosophy IKIGAI which means follow your passion. Ikigai is a Japanese concept that means your ‘reason for being.’ ‘Iki’ in Japanese means ‘life,’ and ‘gai’ describes value or worth. Your ikigai is your life purpose or your bliss. It’s what brings you joy and inspires you to get out of bed we every day.
